MBT 2025 conference
was held from 21nd to 23th May 2025 at the Amadria Park Hotel Milenij in beautiful Opatija, Croatia. The organizer and host of the conference was Odašiljači i veze d.o.o. from Zagreb (Croatia) with the support of the MBT Association.
MBT 2025 conference, in these rapidly changing times marked by economic uncertainty and geopolitical changes, was a good opportunity for broadcasting stakeholders to share insights into the new opportunities and daily challenges they face in broadcasting industry. While broadcasting network operators continue to navigate the complexities of terrestrial radio and television broadcasting, they are also exploring new roads for sustainable growth. Digital broadcasting platforms such as DAB+, DVB-T2, 5G BC are not only spectral and energy efficiently and environmentally responsible but highlighting the strategical role of resilient broadcasting networks in ensuring reliable communications. In today’s perspective, digital terrestrial broadcasting platforms are valuable national assets and can also be used to provide robust infrastructure, i.e. emergency communication systems. The insights shared will inspire new ideas and collaborations.
